The gondola lift is a single-line railway with circular traffic. The carriages are rope-hauled. They are equipped with benches and baskets for carrying six pairs of skis and a snowboard. The railway has a complete electronic control system, which ensures the comfort of driving and safety of operating personnel and passengers. The main drive, emergency drive and garage area for the carriages is located in the station in Czarny Potok, while the hydraulic cable tensioning system is located in the station on top of Jaworzyna Krynicka.
The gondola railway has made Krynica a modern winter sports centre. On Jaworzyna Krynicka there are excellent conditions for winter sports. Numerous trails and ski lifts give a lot of fun while skiing and snowboarding and are a mecca for lovers of these sports. In the summer, from the top of Jaworzyna Krynicka you can admire the magnificent Beskid landscapes, the Slovak Tatras and even the highest peaks of Bieszczady. Close contact with nature provides many unforgettable experiences. Numerous paths and hiking trails invite to walks and hikes, and an attractive bicycle route gives joy to lovers of mountain bikes.
