The new musical fountain refers to the geometric layout of the old one, commonly known as the Round Fountain. It was built during the modernization of the promenade on the Kryniczanka stream as part of the general renovation of the Krynica Promenade.
The present construction has more than 90 nozzles arranged in a circular way - 40 nozzles in the outer basin, 51 nozzles in the inner basin with one central nozzle capable of projecting a stream of water at the height of 10 m in windless weather. The jets form a single system with music and multi-colour lighting. The programme includes, among others, a music and light show of dancing water. Then, we can hear min. "Classical Gas" - Vanessa Mae, the piece "Droga" by Michał Lorenc" - music from the film "300 Miles to Heaven", "Spring" from Four Seasons by Antonio Vivaldi, ""Ode to Joy"" by Ludwig van Bethoven or "Orinoco Flow" by Enya. The fountain works from the beginning of May until the end of October.
